FAQ

Honest answers to real questions

If your question is not here, send it to us — we answer every message within one working day.

I studied English at school. Why do I still struggle to speak?

Because school trains English as theory — rules, reading, exams. Speaking is a skill, and skills need practice with feedback. Our training is built around speaking from the first session, which is exactly the part school usually skips.

What happens in the free consultation?

A 20-minute friendly conversation, partly in English. We assess your real speaking level (not your exam level), discuss your goal and schedule, and recommend a starting point. There is no obligation afterwards.

How long until I can speak confidently?

It depends on your starting level and practice time. Most learners feel a clear difference in daily situations within the first month, and hold real conversations comfortably around month three. We will give you an honest estimate in the consultation — anyone promising fluency in two weeks is not being honest.

Do you teach complete beginners?

Yes. Beginners start with high-frequency phrases and guided speaking from day one — slowly, safely, and in small groups where everyone is at the same level.

Can I learn online if I am not in Kigali?

Yes. Our Online English Practice groups run on live video with a maximum of six learners, using the same speaking-first method and feedback. You need a phone or computer and a stable connection.

How do groups work? Will I be embarrassed in front of others?

Groups are small (6–10) and level-matched, so everyone is in the same situation. Coaches build a supportive room where mistakes are part of training, not something to hide. Most learners say the group becomes the best part.

What does training cost?

Pricing depends on the program and format (group, private, corporate). We share full pricing in the consultation or by email — and we keep programs accessible for average and middle-income earners.

Do you offer training for companies?

Yes. We run on-site, at our center, or online training for teams, starting with a free needs assessment and level testing. Management receives monthly progress reports per employee.

Do you prepare people for exams like IELTS or TOEFL?

Our focus is real communication, which is also the hardest part of those exams. We support exam preparation through private coaching, where we build the plan around your target score and date.

Can children join?

Yes — our Children’s English Program serves ages 6–12 with playful, speaking-first sessions, and our English for Students program serves secondary and university students.
